In Germany, bluplanet is already the leading reseller for Salesforce – now the Berlin-based company has new goals: bluplanet wants to become the partner for SMEs throughout Europe. To achieve this, bluplanet is now adding 16 years of experience to its team: Joachim Schreiner, former GM and EVP Germany at Salesforce, will support bluplanet as Chairman of the Board from October 1, 2023.
In this role, Schreiner will play a key role in shaping bluplanet’s strategic direction and expanding the sales strategy throughout Europe. A particular focus will also be on the development and expansion of industry-specific sector solutions: “Digitalization offers great potential for European SMEs. We want to support this with tailor-made complete solutions and become the leading partner for digitalization – not only in Germany, but throughout Europe,” says Schreiner.
30 years of experience in sales in the technology sector
With 16 years’ experience at Salesforce and a total of 30 years’ experience in the technology industry at Symantec, Veritas and MBC, Schreiner is a true sales expert and a seasoned leader.Schreiner now brings this experience to bear as Chief Revenue Officer at the AI company Parloa and as Chairman of the Board at bluplanet. “Joachim Schreiner is the ideal partner for bluplanet. His experience in the technology industry and the Salesforce ecosystem is invaluable. He knows how to strategically realize business opportunities and has an excellent network in the industry,” says bluplanet Co-Founder Thorsten Köhler.
